Kaitlin grew up in Apex, North Carolina. Kaitlin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from East Carolina University and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in 2011. Kaitlin was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in August of 2011 and the Alabama State Bar in 2013.
Since her admission to the Bar, Kaitlin has focused her practice on family law matters including separation, divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, military pension division orders, court orders acceptable for processing, issues related to survivor benefit plans, property distribution, domestic violence, premarital agreements, separation and property settlement agreements, and qualified domestic relations orders.
In addition, Kaitlin has practiced in an extensive amount of venues in North Carolina, including Wake County, Cumberland County, Harnett County, Johnston County, Moore County, Lee County, Chatham County, Durham County, Orange County, Randolph County, Beaufort County, Carteret County, and Nash County.
Kaitlin has written articles and presented on a variety of family law topics including issues dealing with military divorces.
Kaitlin joined Cheshire Parker Schneider & Bryan, PLLC, as an attorney in 2018. She works in the family law section. Kaitlin is a member of the Wake County Bar Association, the 10th Judicial District Bar, and the Family Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.
